I shall have this good at least, that till death I shall have done all that is in me to love Him."

<![CDATA[My Neighbor]]>Wed, 09 Feb 2011 09:22:52 -0800http://www.tundeandfriends.org/1/post/2011/02/my-neighbor.htmlJesus deftly rejects the question “who is my neighbor?” and substitutes the only question really relevant here: “To whom will I be a neighbor?” And he knows that we can only answer this question case by case as we go through our days. In the morning we cannot yet know who our neighbor will be that day. The condition of our hearts will determine who along the path turns out to be our neighbor, and our faith in God will largely determine whom we have the strength enough to make our neighbor.

- Dallas Willard, the Divine Conspiracy, p. 111

<![CDATA[That He be honored...]]>Wed, 22 Dec 2010 09:37:39 -0800http://www.tundeandfriends.org/1/post/2010/12/that-he-be-honored.htmlIf Christ is not made much of in our lives, they are wasted. We exist to make him appear in the world as what he really is—magnificent. If our life and death do not show the worth and wonder of Jesus, they are wasted. This is why Paul said that his aim in life and death was "that . . . Christ . . . be honored."
